  • In a large bowl, mix together the Bisquick mix and milk until there are no clumps of Bisquick left in the mixture.
  • Take the dough and tear it into pieces.
  • Flatten these pieces out, and stack them in stacks of two or three flat pieces to make layered biscuits.
  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Put your biscuits on a pan covered with non-stick foil ,and put them in the oven at 450 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-12 minutes.
  • Slice your sausage and place the slices on a pan covered in non-stick foil.
  • Put the sausage in the oven at 450 degrees Fahrenheit for 45 minutes or until cooked completely.
  • Once the sausage is done, drain the grease into a saucepan over high heat.
  • When the sausage grease bubbles when you sprinkle a pinch of flour in it, that means it's ready for you to begin adding flour.
  • Add about 1/4 to 1/2 cup of flour to your sausage grease ,and stir it as it begins to cook to a golden yellow, brown color.
  • When your mixture reaches the desired consistency and color, begin adding in milk. The amount of milk one adds is what will determine the ultimate thickness of the gravy. Remember, when taken off heat, the mixture will continue to get a little thicker.
  • Add in the black pepper and salt. Mix thoroughly until everything is smooth.
  • Allow everything to cool and enjoy.
