– 3-4 Large Red Potatoes
– Approximately 1/2 Cup of Flour
-1 Teaspoon of Salt
-1 Teaspoon of Black Pepper
-1 Stick of Butter
-Approximately 3/4 of a Cup of Milk
Directions:
Begin by filling a large saucepan halfway with water, and put it on the stove top over high heat. Peel and slice your potatoes before adding them into the water. Bring the mixture to a rolling boil. Once the potatoes have been boiling for about 10-15 minutes and are soft throughout, add in a stick of butter, approximately 3/4 cup of milk, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of black pepper. Mix the ingredients together well before adding in approximately 1/2 cup of flour. Stir the flour in quickly to ensure that it does not clump. When the mixture begins to look smooth with the only lumps being potatoes, remove it from heat and serve warm.
