Begin by putting the green beans in a pan over high heat.

Proceed to pour the four tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil all over the green beans.
- Then, start to pour the 1/2 cup of brown sugar into the pan.
- Once you've added in your brown sugar, go ahead and add in the one teaspoon of salt.
- Then, simply stir it all together until all the green beans are evenly coated with olive oil, brown sugar, and salt.

Saute the green beans for approximately for 30 to 35 minutes, or until they are done.
- You will know when the green beans are done when they are soft, but still have a little crunch left to them.
