Instructions
-
Begin by filling the bottom inch of the pan with canola oil.
-
Put this oil in the pan on high heat to begin to heat it up.
-
Crack the eggs into a bowl, and begin stirring them with a whisk.
-
Put the flour into a mixing bowl.
-
Add in one teaspoon of cayenne pepper, and one teaspoon of black pepper per cup of flour that you use.
-
Use a fork to stir it all together.
-
Set the flour and egg mixtures side by side.
-
Put the chicken into the egg bath, and immediately put it into the flour.
-
Once you've gotten all of the chicken stripes into the flour mixture, begin to turn them over to coat each side evenly with the flour.
-
Check the oil to see if it's hot enough to fry the chicken by sprinkling a little bit of flour, and if it bubbles then it is ready.
-
Begin by placing the chicken strips into the oil to fry, and make sure that they are all getting plenty of room to cook.
-
As the chicken's are cooking turn them frequently until they start turning into a golden brown color and begin to float.
-
When they are done cooking, put them onto a plate with towels on them and place the fried chicken on top of the towels to soak up any extra grease.
-
Enjoy!
